You may have used a VR headset with your phone to get a peek at what virtual reality can deliver with the help of your smartphone. Today, we have another use for your smartphone: helping you and your kids create holograms using your smartphone's screen. All for the cost of less than $1 and a time requirement of about 15-20 minutes.

In order to create this effect, you will need the following supplies:
You will need to measure and draw four trapeziums on the transparent sheets that look something like this:
Please note that the top of the trapezium should be 5 cm in width and the bottom should be around 1 cm. Also, the centers of both the lines should match, otherwise joining the parts later on may not come out properly.
Once the four trapeziums are created, you will have to tape all the four sides in the method that is shown below:
The final result should come up looking something like this:
Next, open the YouTube app on your smartphone and open this video in full-screen. The different shapes should now come to life! Just remember that it works best in a dark room with the brightness of your smartphone turned up to maximum!
